  • Position Overview

    We’re looking for a smart, motivated Director of Sales to help grow our business and manage the sales side of our operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on building relationships, hitting ambitious goals, and thinking creatively about how to get great beer into more hands.

    You should have a solid understanding of the craft beer world, know how to build and lead a sales strategy, and be comfortable with the tools that keep things moving—like CRM systems, inventory tracking, and delivery logistics. If you’re equal parts people-person and numbers-nerd, we want to talk to you.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Distribution Leadership

    • Sales Strategy Develop and lead our off-site sales strategy to grow revenue, expand our footprint, and boost brand visibility. Set and hit ambitious sales and revenue goals.

    • Distribution Management Manage relationships with retailers, draft accounts, and other partners. Oversee logistics and inventory to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries.

    • Customer Relationships Build strong relationships with key accounts and turn them into champions for Arlington Beer. Be the go-to contact for high-value partners.

    • Sales Team Leadership As the company grows, recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set clear goals, coach regularly, and track results.

    • Market Insights & Strategy Stay on top of customer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Use that insight to fine-tune our sales strategy and help shape our product pipeline.

    • Off-Site Events
      Lead planning and execution of off-site events like beer gardens, festivals, tastings, and private events.

    Operational Leadership

    • Product Pricing Work with production and marketing to set pricing that’s competitive and profitable.

    • Inventory Oversight Partner with the production team to manage inventory—keeping the right products in stock without overproducing or wasting beer.

    • Sales Reporting Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track sales performance, surface insights, and support decision-making.

    • New Product Launches Coordinate with brewing and marketing to plan and roll out new beers, seasonal releases, and special drops.

    • Team Culture We're a small, growing company. Everyone wears multiple hats. Flexibility, a collaborative attitude, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed are essential.

    Qualifications:

    • A genuine passion for craft beer and a commitment to our mission of spreading joy through great beer and community.

    • Operates with integrity and professionalism at all times.

    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you know how to connect with people and earn their trust.

    • Proven experience leading sales and distribution strategies, with a track record of hitting goals and growing revenue.

    • Solid understanding of the craft beer industry and how distribution networks work.

    • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills; able to make sound decisions based on data.

    • Comfortable using tools for inventory, delivery, and sales management (CRM, POS, etc.).

    • Able to thrive in a fast-moving environment, juggle multiple priorities, and adapt quickly.

    • Willing and able to become TIPS certified (or already certified).

    Preferred:

    • Experience in the craft beer or beverage industry.

    • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing partner relationships.
